Adult Literacy Program
Empowering adults through basic education
Our Adult Literacy Program aims to overcome educational roadblocks by providing quality literacy programs to disadvantaged communities in urban slums and remote rural areas.
Program Overview
At Ayesha Foundation, we believe that education is the foundation for a better and more secure future. Through our Education and Literacy initiatives, we focus on making learning accessible to those who are often left behind due to financial or social challenges.
Our programs include homeschooling support for children who do not have access to formal schooling, scholarship assistance to help deserving students continue their education, and mentorship programs that guide learners in both academics and personal growth. We also assist families with school enrollment processes to ensure that children are not deprived of basic education.
By providing continuous support, resources, and encouragement, we aim to create an environment where every learner gets the opportunity to grow, gain confidence, and build a path toward a brighter future.

IBTIDA Project - Non-Formal School
Taking school to street children
A bold initiative bringing education to slum children where they are – in tin sheds, jhuggis, or busy markets.
The Challenge
Many children from impoverished families work as rag pickers, shoe polishers, or beggars in markets like Lal Kurti Area (Begum Bridge), Meerut. Denied basic childhood necessities including education, they’re trapped in cycles of poverty.
Our Solution
IBTIDA provides remedial education to bridge learning gaps, enabling children to transition into formal government schools. Started in 2016-17, the project now operates across western Uttar Pradesh districts.
